Would a new pit bike 125 motor fit in an old yamaha motorbike? I am looking for a old 1980 yamaha RX125 a motor, time is not on my side. If i cannot find a RX125 or similar motor in time. Is it possible to fit one of those new pitbike engine onto the bike with some engine mount modification?

I am having problems with my motorbike YAMAHA CT1-175 Can anyone help? I was given this 175 yamaha a month ago I have cleaned the carby and reset the float, it has a new spark plug and plenty of spark, idles lousy and 1. is now extremely hard to start. 2. only runs in gear for a short distance then dies. 3. spits fuel into the air filter (completely soaks it) I didnt know anything machanical about bikes befor i got this and its becoming a headache, can anyone help?

Yamaha Diversion 900 for sale. 1995, but garaged from new and still less than 20,000 miles. That's what comes from spending all your bleedin time in Afghanistan and Iraq!! The bike is in good nick, with new tyres and new exhaust. It's been regularly serviced (FSH), and comes complete with a luggage rack and two big Givi panniers. What else? Oh, yes, heated grips, trickle charger for the battery, Datatool alarm and Datatagged. And of course it has a hassle-free shaft drive. I'll even throw in a tankbag for free. girls... do guys riding motorbikes look cool? hi there. im 20 years old and ride a 2006 black yamaha r1. I go to the gym alot and enjoy trying to look good and taking chances (i do stuff like rock climbing, skydiving etc). i smoke as well and because im at a uni in a small city go to clubs quite alot where i recognise alot of girls and they recognise me ( usually as that guy who turns up at uni on 'that' bike funnily enough). whenever i get talking to them they always seem to be under the impression that im trying to cultivate an image of cool to be more attractive... but after they get to know me they realise im not and quite like me. ive always done what i liked, riding being one of those things and never thought about it being attractive (if anything i thought they'd hate being on the back especially since its not exactly 30 degrees here in london and some days i come to uni like a black leathered up power ranger in my 2 piece). 1979 Yamaha DT 250 cutting out? recently i have been having problems with my motorbike. It was working fine until i started it up yesterday and it ran fine then after a few minuets it would cut out about half on the throtle? i tried replacing the rubber that mounts the carb to the motor but it is still doing it? is there something in the carb that is doing this? i took the whole carb apart and cleaned it and nothing was plugged. do i need a carb rebuild kit? Indicator problems with my Yamaha WR400F? Recently I've acquired the previously stated motorbike. and I'm having problems with the indicators. When the bikes headlights are switched off, all four indicators work fine without any problems. The problem arises when I switch on the headlight; none of the indicators will work. I noticed today that when holding the bike above a certain rev range, the indicators work fine even with the headlight on. This is pointless to me, but may help someone diagnose my problem for me. I'd like to try all my options before I let a mechanic take a look at it; with any luck I might save a few $$$. Thanks in advance.

need help with a 1980 DT100G, other wise know as the 1980 yamaha enduro 100? my motorbike was fine i was riding it down a road and then my front sprocket gave out, my back tire wouldnt move, i took my chain off so i could push it home, my bike starts and runs, it doesnt drive and my front sprocket doesnt move and its not stuck in between gears, but its really hard to shift, i think its my transmission, but iam not sure if its cloged or whats wrong with it or to do with it. i tried to again to see what the problem was, i still dont know what it is, but i figured out only my first gear works
