Yamaha Diversion 900 for sale. 1995, but garaged from new and still less than 20,000 miles. That's what comes from spending all your bleedin time in Afghanistan and Iraq!! Why are motorbikes so fuel inefficient if they weigh so little and have comparably small engine capacity? I have a 600cc bike and it does about 35mpg; it does 20% less if I ride like Barry Sheen. I have a 12 year old car with a 1800cc engine and it also does 35mpg. The car weighs a lot more than the bike and has an engine that's 3 times the size. Why doesn't the bike give better fuel efficiency than the car? Is there a way to get more mpg out of the bike?

Now he's fine with motorbikes usually, theres often one up at the yard, but this one drove past us on a small country lane at about 90 miles an hour. Didn't slow down, didn't really make any acknowledgement that we were there. My horse totally freaked. He reared, unbalanced himself and landed on the floor with me underneath him! (He didn't throw me but since he fell over...) The motorbike had no number plate so I haven't reported it yet, although both me and my friend could describe both it and the driver well. Fortunately I'm ok, a few grazes and a twisted ankle but considering what happened that's nothing really. I checked my horse as soon as we were both up and he is also ok, have called a vet to double check. There's no bridleways up where I am so had no choice but to ride on the road. Do I have any recompense legally? I'm in UK I saw him approaching, he was coming from in front of me. Plus I had a friend with me who saw the whole thing - including the rider and the bike. I don't want money - I want to make sure this doesn't happen to the next horse down the road. I was lucky - the next one might not be! Firstly horses have just as much right to be on the road according to UK Law. Secondly - the highway code states that drivers should pass horses wide and slow - he didn't. Therefore legally breaking the law. Thirdly it is his fault my horse got freaked out (see above!) Oh and Fourthly, even if 90mph is an overestimate (which I really don't think it is since 2 people thought that independantly) he was driving over the speed limit - therefore breaking a second law (at least)

Dream about motorbikes and waterparks.? i had a dream. i was in a cave with no roof, by the side of the motorway. i was with this guy on a motorbike who i think was after me or something. (the dream went on before this but i cant remember it). he was showing me motorbike tricks and i sneaked out and started walking along the middle bit on the motorway. next thing i can remember i was in a waterpark, going down some rapids slide with tons of colour, and there's a bit where it widens out and you go shooting up the waterslide with 100s of other riders, then you come down again. it's yellow. when i reached the bottom i was in a waterpark with some friends of the family, and me and my friend were going on the slides, but every1 else was sitting on the picnic rug. it was indoors, tho. and we went on the bottom bit of the slide (just the up and down bit with the 100s of other riders) a couple of times, then the motorbike guy turns up. ive got to get away, so i go on the slide again, and it's sponsoring warburtons. the end i dont think i was smoking anything... i dont think i was smoking anything... and im just seeing what it could mean if it means anything
