Any idea on the law regarding mini motorbikes? For the last few weeks we've been plagued by young kids riding mini motos up and down our street, either on the pavement or on the road. None of the kids (the oldest about 16, the youngest 10ish) wear helmets, they zoom from the pavement, in between parked cars onto the road and back again without any heed paid to pedestrians or motorists - I don't know how they've managed to escape serious accident so far. A number of local residents have approached the local police about it, but quite honestly when they can be bothered to come out they give the kids a quick lecture and as soon as they've gone the kids are back on them again. Is road tax payable as they are driving along the road, do the police have power to confiscate these motos if the kids are perpectual nusiances - any advice?

Anyone have a problem with mini motorbikes.? Why have all these mini moto bikes suddenly appeared, they're constantly buzzing round our roads, irritating the hell out of everyone. I would love to get a rifle and knock them off one by one but know this is illegal. Are there any legal and reliable ways of clearing this scum from our streets. Most of the riders are old enough to have proper bikes or cars. Also i'm pretty sure non of them pay road tax, insurance and they don't wear helmets (i know i sound like victor meldrew)

Mini moto konks out when throttle is increased PLEASE HELP!!!? Just got my mini moto out of the shed after the winter, took a while for it to start, and there was a bit of fluid coming out of the exhaust pipes, but after a while, managed to get it started, the revs were high so i adjusted this with the rev screw, then when i increased the throttle, it gave a little bit more power, but then just konked out, i can't think for the life of me why it would do this, i am still learning about motorbikes and mini moto's so i am confused as to what could be causing this. I would be extremely helpful for any advice as to why this is happening as i plan to sell the bike soon. Thank you!!!

Do I deserve to be called a bad woman driver? I've had a full licence for 18 years, drive up to 7.5 tonne, ride motorbikes, transport teenagers in mini busses, have driven abroad, not had any accidents or caused any, am considerate on the road, still drive as I was taught and have had no points. I'e driven for a living for the last 16 years and used to teach people how to ride motorbikes.

urgent help needed regarding motorbikes for kids christmas? i bought 2 mini motos for my kids xmas, when i bought them (brand new) i had to sign a disclaimer stating that i should put fuel in when i got home and try them, and after that, if they didnt work i had to take them back imediatly, it said no refund or exchange afterwards as wee cant determine what they have been used for, fortunatly they started and went perfect, i ran them for a few minuets then switched them off, i took them upstairs and put them away in a cupboard knowing they were in perfect working order, no i have brought them down, ready for tomorrow, and they wont start, i have looked at the obvious things, like fuel etc and all seeems ok, please please please help

What do people think about off road bikes needing registrations? What to do with a Neighbour from Hell? (Unresolved question)? For nearly 2 years, a neighbours 5 dogs have been constantly barking 24 hours a day (they have now 3 dogs). It's so loud, my TV has 2 b on full volume. They also have 2 banger cars complete with trailers, that they park in the road, along with their other 3 vehicles, motorbike & mini bike, all making a long reviving noise, when they start them. Even though taking pictures of all the incidents plus a movie of the dogs barking (the movie could not be used in evidence, because it invades the persons privacy?) the neighbours are still able 2 continue with these incidents.without being evicted from their council property. The council have 10 rules, they have broken 6. By breaking any of these rules, it should have resulted in their eviction. Sent the council daily diaries which they requested. Council have visited the neighbours, who have said they would now abide with the council rulings (this lasted a week, they were back doing the same things) Do I take the council to court?

i need help about motorbike fuel? i have bought my kids mini motos for christmas and obviously they run on two stroke, ihave bought them a fuel can each which holds five litres, the mixing ratio is 25-1, how much two stroke do i put in per five litres of fuel, please give me an honest answer as i dont want to ruin my kids best ever christmas pressies, my maths isnt than great as you can tell

Dog is disobedient on front yard.? In our back yard our Mini Fox Terrier is very obedient. Comes when you call her, sits, won't eat until we say so. When she comes out to the front yard, where our neighbours are. She will not listen to us at all. If a motorbike or scooter or people walking by pass our house, the dog runs afer them barking. She is not big enough to hurt. Our problem is that she runs across the road. We call her and she does listen. She only comes back when we walk after her (Normally over 100m) and then she knows she is in trouble. Runs back to our house with her ears down. How can we train her to ignore distractions and listen to us??

Anyone else notice how often our automobiles are used to transport all of one solitary person---the driver? Riding my motorbike around, I noticed that most vehicles only cab one person. DO YOU THINK that people would be interested in driving one passenger motorized mini-cars, if there was some sort of incentive to do so? The savings would be incredible! I can picture a small 3 wheel deal with electric motor and small propane heater that would cost one a thousand bucks or so. It would be a wee bit smaller than a trike motorcycle and include a good fabric covering. Would you drive one of these things and leave the family car at home if all you are doing is commuting (alone) from home to work? The superstructure could be built to any degree of sophistication; One could have a trike covered in a smooth carbon fibre on aluminum frame. Winter would not pose a problem and traction would be better than a rear wheel drive vehicle. The "winter" shell l could be made available as a retrofit or option, or as money is available. One could have several different shells, all extremely light weight, of varying color and the structure would be "arched" in such a way as to offer superior compression strength. I'm thinking 15 horsepower with maximum speeds of 55 mph! Would you buy one of these for a grand (base model) and pay 3 grand (or so) for add on shell?
