What is the average cost for a used motorbike? I'm trying to compare costs of cars and bikes to see whether I should get a motorbike, or save up for a car. Does anyone have a good estimate to how much a used motorbike would usually cost?

Worst, they are hard to be identified since most used full covered helmets. Haha, just like the movie "catch me if you can". Let's think of ways to prevent this. guys, i'm not kidding, this is reality, not in the movies!Maybe it had not happened in your place. But here in the Phlippines, it does. By now, effective measures have not yet been developed. Your ideas can help a lot, just in case. however, we can't ban the use of helmets...In some areas, they made measures as banning back riders, and full covered helmets, but isn't this the safest protection for the head, how about our welfare, the non criminals?

Which motor oil should I use for my motorbike? When changing the engine oil on a motorbike, is there a motorcycle-type engine oil that is designed for the nuances and high rpm of a bike engine, or is standard engine oil normally used?
Where can I find out about footpeg height for motorbikes? I ask because I got on a bandit the other day and it was really comfy (I'm a tall laddie) but the daytona 600 was cramped as hell, and I since found that sports bikes tend to have relatively higher seats (800mm+) but also, obviously, higher pegs. If there was a place that gave me peg height I could use the bandit as a 'control' for other bikes. Actually, an easier question is what bikes have a similar seat-peg distance to the bandit? And yes I could and have had a little look, but there are a lot of bikes out there and I'd love some genuine advice! Cheers The bandit has a nice rep, but in England it's also pretty notorius for not holding up well in winters. People who claim to look after it well say it still starts to rust in place pretty quickly. Just want to keep my options open if I can! Dogbettor: Cheers, I had a look at t the manufacture sites at the bikes I'm interested in, but there are no pther dimensions relating to what I'm talking about apart from height!
Filling a motorbike battery with acid: do I use both strips of bottles? Hello folks. I got a new battery for my Suzuki SV650 today. It came with two strips, or racks, of plastic bottles (six in each) containing acid and the instructions only mention using one of these. Do i use both or is the second lot a spare or for topping up later? It is a sealed battery type. Also, one of the first six didn't empty, not pierced properly I guess. Should I take it off before this one empties? I have tried tapping it etc but can't get it to go in. Any advice?
Can you install a cigarette lighter power supply to a motorbike? My husband just got a new motorbike and wants to use his PDA which has a GPS on it. The only thing is that when you use the GPS it runs the battery low really fast. In the car this would be overcome easily by just plugging the car lighter adaptor in - but bikes dont come with that! I reckon that there must be people out there who have had this issue before. Any help appreciated!

The plate numbers should be engraved on the helmets with luminous contra color bars on the sides and square at the front and back.We did it. hope it works. mike, endie, i've posted this question in six categories....you two got imaginations. Let's put it in legislation. Anyone who won't agree? Why? We'll listen and see what to do best goombull.......best we can do is to demand payment for those dents and scratches, from their insurances. Apologies are unacceptable. Can we say sorry if we bump on them?
