How are Hyundai cars?

They are really really cheap, but are they reliable? and good cars that need little repair?

1. Think about that for a sec. They are really cheap says it all. Don't waste your money on low quality crap.
2. Older Hyundais were horrible, the newer models are much higher quality, and a good warranty at 10/100,000 miles. I have a 99 Elantra that my g/f drives daily and at 120,000 miles, no repairs other than maintenance, except one power window regulator, no complaints, still runs great.

4. Newer models are much higher quality than the more reputation they've receieved in the past. Also, they are backed by such high warrenties, which proves they are willing to put their money where their mouths are! Are there better cars out there? Of course. But will you regret buying a hyundai after getting a good deal? Probably not.
5. I have a 2004 Hyundai Elantra. It has been very reliable, and it handles well. I am not wild about the defrost system, but the AC works nicely. The Hyundai has a good warranty - 10 years - so I don't think you can beat that. I kind of wish I had gotten the Sonata, but the Elantra gets me where I need to go and back, and my payment is low. You should do some online research before you make a decision. Joyce
6. The newer ones are much better. I have three with me (Tucson, Elantra and the accent). Really cheap and goes well. No problems lately compared to my Toyota Vios. Accent is 4 years, Elantra 3 and Tucson 1. Maintenance parts are cheap and its best to get them from the agent. Warranty is good too.
7. My parents has a Elantra, 2004, I think. Obviously, I've driven it and it's not bad. Good handling, and they haven't had too many problems with the engine so far. My only beef with the car is the headlights are too bright (more like a high beam on normal and I've almost gotten into a physical altercation with someone because of it), not very roomy, and it takes way too much gas. My 93 Voyager has better mileage. So it all depends on what you're looking for.

9. i bought my wife a hyundi tiberon. she loves it. i have a 67 dodge pickup capable of pulling wheelys, she blew my doors off like i was in reverse. i was driving it when a corvette wanted to race. i took the corvette like it was stuck in second.
10. i own a repair shop,and there built better than a lot of people think they are,as far as holding up there as good as any other car on the road,and as far as repairs goes i really don't see a lot of them in my shop for repairs, i do a lot of work for a lot of people and some of them own Hyundais as second cars or back up cars ,and they wind up driving them more than they do there regular cars these days because the get really good gas mileage,and are real dependable,if your thinking about buying one ,there good cars ,there like any other car if you take care of it,it will last forever,and that goes for just about any car made now,good luck,i hope this help,s.
11. I had a couple of huyndai cars before which was given to me by my employer and here's my honest-to-goodness recommendation to you. Don't buy one. I sold both cars because of a lot of problems. Parts are scars and rather expensive and the Hyundai technician doesn't know what's the cause of so many problems. I had a Hyndai Starex and a Hyundai Matrix and got rid of them both. I replaced them with a Toyota Previa and a Toyota Corolla Altis and they ran like a dream. Good luck.
