Information on the Hyundai car company and the Hyundai Azera.?

Hyundai was in chapter 11 in 2001. How solid is the company now? Anyone have any feedback the Hyundai Azera? It drives very nicely and has a ton of acceleration. Are there any down sides to consider? Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

  1. i may not own a azera but the difference in the azera from the xg is outstanding! the only thing hyundai needs to work on is to stop telling fibs... the azera is NOT the size of the bmw 760i. hyundai has come a very long way, but they still need a little work to do. what i believe the down side of the azera is that it might not sell. it will sell more than the xg but i think they will stop making it like the xg to! hyundai isn't good at making luxury cars yet, but i still give them pat on the back for trying... the azera is a good car,, keep it. remember the 2008 equus is coming to america.
  2. They are in trouble with the South Korean government concerning bribes. The Azera is an OK car but like all Hyundai's, resale price is miserable. Look elsewhere.
  3. Hyundai is the sixth largest car company on the planet. The quality is a lot better than before. The Azera has excellent reviews. You may consider leasing one before buying because the resale value of these cars is still poor. Azera is built in US.
  4. Hyundai is one of the fastest growing automotive companies in the last five years. They have made great strides in recent years. Their cars are generally relaible, more so than American cars. The Azera scores very highly in JD Power surveys. However, if you can spend a little more money get the Toyota Avalon or Chrysler 300. Both of these cars are more refined, have a nicer interior, have better driving dynamics and have much better resale value.
