Does anyone know if a saturn is a good car?

I just recently went to a used car dealer today and put 100 dollars down to pay for a saturn i can't exactly remember what kind of saturn it is but it has 124,000 miles on it but its a 2000. is that bad mileage? the car is in fairly good condition the only thing majorly wrong with it would probably be the upholestry. obviously a smoker was in it because there are burn holes. it could be easily fixed though, but besides that does anyone know if overall saturn are good cars?

1. saturns are great car as long as maintained and not hot rodde. steady maint schedule and no over revving (allumonum heads will warp) should be good to go
2. Overall, yes, Saturn is a good car. I would think twice about purchasing any vehicle with 124K miles unless it was a good price. Start the car when cold and look for a puff of smoke from the exhaust. Or any smoke during idle. If there is, the engine may not have been serviced regularly as needed. If you do purchase it, make sure the oil is changed religiously, among the other service timetables.
