- Many of the cars on autortrader.com are being offered by dealers. You would need to talk to those individual dealers about whether they can help you with financing. Many of the cars are offered by private sellers who would not be in a position to help with financing. The cars vary widely in price, quality and condition.
- they have some cheap cars but i don't think they allow you to make payments on them, most of theirs are sold for cash, the only places that do that are some of the buy here pay here lots, and you have to watch them, they sometimes don't sell good cars, good luck.
- Ads placed in the AutoTrader come from a wide variety of places. Everything from dealers to private parties. Individuals selling their car would not normally take payments but dealers would. Regarding the quality of the cars, it too varies widely. You just need to find some of the type you want and then check them out in person. Good luck
- I run a new car dealership in Southern California and we of course sell used cars. We advertise on Autotrader.com because it is the biggest and best source for customers to find us. Most dealers I know use Autotrader, Craigslist and Cars.com. All the sites are the same. There are bargains in all the sources you just have to find them. Some people will tell you they are cheaper in one source or another and this is just their perception. We advertise all of them and all of them for the same price for each car we are selling. Almost any dealer will be able to offer financing. If you want to buy private party just look into financing with your credit union, bank or online sources.
- Yes. There are dealers on there that will finance you. Craigslist has a few as well.
- well its basically where dealers and buyers converge..think of it as a bulletin board.. usually dealers that sell cars on it, have finance options..
- They list cars that are from dealers and private sale. It depends if you are 18 , have credit , and make at least 1500.00 a month and have good debt ratio. Most cars in auto trder are buy here pay here cars which you have a maybe 1 out of 10 chance you will no=t have to dump money in car and they charge like 24.9 interst. You still have to have job, make 1500 a month, be 18, and live and work at sameplace for 1 year. Stay awy and go to dealer taht is reputable. buy here payhere have your down payment cover what theypaid for vehicle most of time. Also most of time put GPS on car until paid off if they have to repo.
