  1. Well i think you actually broke. The reason is because if ur kickstart wont go then it's most likely your engine is stuck or got overflowed.
  2. IS THE MOTOR EVEN TURNING OVER? IF ITS NOT EVEN MOVING THE PISTON UP AND DOWN THEN YOU STRIPPED THE GEARS OUT ON INSIDE THE MOTOR THAT THE KICKSTARTER TURNS . DONT KNOW HOW THE HELL YOU WOULD FIND PARTS FOR A BIKE THAT OLD BUT GOOD LUCK !
  3. Sound like serval problem. rusty valve stem that stuck open. that cannot go back into valve guide due to rusty valve stem. Then the piston hit the valve. It can bend the valve and the crank cannot go over due to the valve still open. Try to remove the flywheel cover to see if you can turn the flywheel in other direction to see if moved. If it moved backward, Then you know that top end ( valves are stuck) As for compression. It possible the rusty valves that cannot sealed on valve seat on cylinder head. It causes air leak. I would like to not to use kick starter till you find the major problem. If you keep using kick starter, It will make more major damages internal engine. I am not sure how long the bike been sitting or just rode it and finally broke it?? If just rode it, It might be broken valve springs. or Timing chain might broke, I am not sure of your issue, So let start to remove your cylinder head and look up the problems . If not Then have a mechanic will help you, I am warn you that your bike is 50 years old. It will be hard to find the parts, Good luck Todd
  4. I had a CT 90 in the late sixties and I had repair/re-tighten a part under the right side engine case, several times. You can lay the bike on its left side and remove the right side case without draining the oil. Since that was around 40 years ago, I can't remember all the details, but after you've removed the case screws I think you need to remove the kick start lever arm from the splined shaft before the case can be slipped off. Once you have the side case off, you can then inspect the kick start mechanism, maybe it's something that can be fixed without having to buy parts. This would have nothing to do with compression because if you can’t kick over the engine, how would you know there is no compression. I think you tried to bump start (push start) the bike and found that it did not work. Then you surmised there was no compression. You can’t push a CT 110 because it has an automatic clutch that only works when the engine is running. Let me know how it goes, send me an e-mail with the results.
  5. Just adding a few comments, the real advise is already posted. The CT110 is not 50 years old. It was first made in 1980. Even with the auto clutch, these bikes CAN be push started. The following sites may help.
