Why do men like motorbikes and cars?

I asked the question 'why do women like buying underwear?' and one answer was 'the same reason that men like buying cars'. I think it's a good point but seeing as I have no licence and ride a bicycle to work everyday I don't know the reason for this either. Please do tell. Well, I'm not wasting another 10 points with that question highlander.

3. I ride a bike and I love the open road. Buying a car is a necessity and I hate it. Bikes on the other hand are like a great girl, once found you never want to let her go.
4. I like to buy cars as well as buying under wears, so it's not a problem of men and women, but of preferences.

7. i don't like buying underwear. But i have the same like about buying cars as my husband. Cars have gadgets, they are full of technology, and loads of interesting stuff. Even the way they are made, the way they work, it is all a technological and engineering masterpiece. I suppose the same could be said for a bra, however, it is much more fun to test drive a car than it is to test drive a bra, AND changing rooms are all hot and stuffy, whereas cars have windows and airconditioning.... Problem Solved. x x
8. To some men their car is their toy. Being an adult male, I don't have many toys. Why not have something that makes you happy?
9. men are more in touch with their physical sides of thinking than the emotional ones. their though partenrn is..physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. while women are in touch with their wmotional sides more than the physical..their thought parten is ..mental, emotional, physical, and then spiritual. have you ever wondered why men want to lay a woman first before getting to know her.. and why women prefer to be taken out and the small nice things done for them before they can lay a man. their is your answer. we think from different lobes of the brain.

13. I ride a big bike, shes always waiting for me,always gives me pleasure,never turns round & says 'i've got a headache. I can fiddle with her anytime I like,even in public! She always makes me feel good about myself & we look great together. Oh' and she never disappears for the day spending the mortgage money on shoes.
