Are sidecars now illegal on motorbikes in the UK?

We never see them anymore.

1. i seriously doubt they are illegal...but they are ugly
2. There are still plenty of them about, they are not illegal. I've crashed two so decided to stick to solo motorcycles. you can still buy new motorcycles and sidecars.
3. When I was a lot younger a young family man could hitch a sidecar to his motorcycle, instant family transport. Then came the Mini followed by cheap Japanese cars for around the same money, warm and dry or cold and wet. Nowadays its just the hard core charioteers who keep them as weekend transport.

5. You should come to the Isle of Man during the TT Races you will see plenty and not just racing ones either
