I hv been working in US for 1 yr and bought a Suzuki GSX last month. hw much will be the import duty to india?

I hv been working in US for 1 yr and bought a new Suzuki GSX 1000 Motorbike last month. hw much will be the import duty to ship it to india from US? how much would be the overall cost including shipping.

1. well if you are a US citizen then you hav to pay a very minimum duty that is about 25% but if ur not then you gotta pay 200% duty that is 2 times the cost of the car
2. You'll have to modify it as well from MPH to KPH, and I think you'll need a kill switch installed on kickstand. It's actually cheaper to sell it here and buy one over there.
3. if the meter reading is above 40000 k.m.s then you have to pay 10% duty on the bike if not then 200%.and be sure to fit a k.m.s dial on speedo...
4. the vehicle should actually be in your possession officially for a minimum period of one year.pl.checkup.
