Delivering cars to auto dealers or car rental companies?
I am looking for a way to make some money to pay my rent because I lost my job. I heard I can drive cars either rental cars back to a particular location (for example if someone rents a car from JFK one way to say Charlotte, NC the rental company will need someone to drive that car back to JFK) or from an auto dealership to another dealership in an other state. Can anyone who knows something about this give me some ideas on how start or whom to contact? Serious responses only please. Thanks

- Contact your local car dealership... They are what we call "Drivers"...You will have to fill out a W9 and will probably be given your first "test"... Dealer trades are mostly the cars you will drive from dealership to dealership. And sometimes you can drive a car to an auction. Depending on where you go is what you charge plus any gas you put in the car. Like say if you were going from Montgomery,Al to Atlanta, Ga...Some drivers might charge a base price of about $90 for the trip...but watch out! Some drivers will lower their base price to compete for the Trip... Make sure when you go you keep ALL your reciepts including food. Some dealerships will reimburse you for food expenses and if you have to stay overnight. This might help also...If you have 2-3 dealerships in your area try to drive for all of them...And if you dont traveling might have to be an option... Hope this helps!! You can email me if you have anymore questions...
