Drive Drive Drive

how does anyone deal with antisocial behaviour in their area? like hoodies? hoodies riding motorbikes?

yobbos? gangs of hoodies and yobs? loud blasting music? their are hoodies where i live and they drive motorbikes recklassly 'all the time'. im to nervous to go out there if their outside. and their there all the time. they shout at each other accross the road. i stay in because i have great anxiety and panic about going out. im waiting for therapy. the area i live in is altrincham, and altrincham is no where near as bad as some areas in manchester. but i live in a council flat and on benifits, and cant just move. so its like having to put up with a load of ' liam gallaghers' living around you. can anyone relate to this? how do you deal with it?

  1. hey live and let live they not on here posting about how they feel about you so why do it about them? its everywhere but just get used to it they not robbing grannies are they ?? worse things they could be doing believe me seems they got a bad name through the press but i bet half of them are not as bad as the stereo type says
  2. call the police from a pay phone so the hodlums cant know who reports them
  3. Are you kidding me? You let those little kiddies bother you? signed, Hells Angels and Al Quiada neighours
  4. I feel with you brother, get the police involved when their behavior becomes illegal
  5. it sounds like you cant change you living arrangements at this time, so changing the way you deal with it is the best solution. if you are panicky, i think that there is probably more going on than just the " hoodie" anxiety. its very good that you are about to get some therapy. it hopefully will help you manage your anxiety and keep things in perspective. meds can make a world of difference too. i suggest in the meantime you try some meditation and relaxation techniques. all the best. :)
  6. Jesus Christ, just because a group wear hoodies does not mean they are anti social. Many of them just wanna do something, they can't because there is nothing to do so they sit on walls and chat! People find this scary and horrible! Those kids are just doing that because there is nothing else to do! Write into your local council to get something built, like a youth center or a skate park or something. Every place has "hoodies" but they only do that because the are bored and have nothing to do! You say you are living on benifits - is it so hard to get a job?!? If it is that bad, get up off your @rse, get a job, make a living (even if it is in Macdonalds), pay taxes like everyone else and then move! They are alot worse things they could be doing, taking drugs, stealing off you, beating people up, killing people, and yh im gonna say it, they could be making bombs and plotting terrorist attacks like the guys in Leeds did!
  7. Where I live, we don't do anything about them. Most of us have far better things to do than sit and watch people outside in the street going about their business, and how many are there in one of these "gangs" - I doubt it's more than four, and so what if some of them are riding motorbikes. It's quite legal you know, so why don't you just ignore them and sit and watch your television. That way they won't do you any harm and you won't have to worry about what YOU deem is anti-social behaviour.
  8. get drunk and start diong wierd s'hit like pissing outside ur door, and wearing pants on ur head and they should leave u alone...................
  9. It won't always be like this as they have to grow up sometime. Instead of locking them up money should be spent on activities, but under this government i can't see it happening. One guy i was recently talking to said he used to get into fights all the time until he learned boxing and disipline. Another i read about said he used to ride motorbikes and thrash 'em until someone taught him how to repair them.
